I woke up just before 4 AM from one of the most bizarre, strange, and frankly horrifying nightmares I've had in ages, so I thought I might as well do something about it. Thankfully, no warnings apply to this.

First words from Call. The title is a song by Ólafur Arnalds that means something along the lines of "they have escaped the heavy darkness" and the inspiration for this particular character grouping is the choreography by Yoo Junsun for the Don Diablo Remix of Keeping Your Head Up by Birdy.

First of all, I'm so so so so sorry I'm so late; I really meant to post earlier but things happened and then I always thought I would have time and it just spiralled away from me.

This story is inspired by the NCT U Without You mv featuring Doyoung (Dongyoung), Jaehyun (Yoonoh) and Taeil, as well as the model Han Kyunghyun (ig). The as-yet-unallocated SMRookie (and future?) NCT subunit member Winwin (Sicheng) also appears in the mv as well as this story. The title of this story is taken from the lyrics of the song.
